Mrs. McGannon's first grade class had a beautiful day for a field trip! They went to the Knabusch Center and learned all about local animals and their families. 🐾🐢🍕
Summerfield Schools is operating on a two hour delay today, Tuesday, October 14th.
In our early message this morning it was stated that the delay is on October 14, 2026. We recognize that a full year was skipped in that message, and our delay is truly for 2025!

⛳Our girls golf team traveled to Rustic Glen Golf Course in Clinton yesterday to compete in the Division 4 MHSAA Regional meet.
The team had an excellent showing, finishing fourth overall—a great accomplishment and testament to their hard work throughout the season.
🏆Senior Brea Olmstead led the way with an outstanding round, shooting a 95 to qualify for the individual state meet! She’ll represent our school at Ferris State University on October 17–18, playing 18 holes each day.
Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff on a successful season, and best of luck to Brea as she competes at the state level next week! We’re proud of you!

Student leaders in 3th, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades today met with food service director Libbie O'Connell, Mrs. Baur, and Mr. Ost today to share their thoughts on our breakfast and lunch meal options. These students shared what they like most about what is offered, what they wouldn't miss if they never saw it again, and their ideas on what changes we could make.

AP Stats had a blast learning about Scatterplots in class today. Students looked at explanatory and response variables such as, how the number of rubber bands affects the distance Barbie would bungee jump.
