Thanks to our Energy Bond Project, we’ve upgraded the lighting in our high school gym from older fixtures to new, energy-efficient LED lighting. The transformation is easy to see—and the benefits go far beyond brighter lights.
The new LED lighting:
✔️ Improves visibility for students, athletes, and spectators
✔️ Uses less energy, helping reduce operating costs
✔️ Requires less maintenance and has a longer lifespan
✔️ Creates a brighter, more welcoming environment for school events
This project is one of many improvements being made through our Energy Bond, allowing us to modernize our facilities while investing in long-term energy savings. Be on the lookout for more energy bond project updates!

🏐A Fresh Look is Coming to Our Gym!🏀
Our high school gym floor is currently being refinished this week, and we can't wait to put it to use! This project will help preserve our court while providing a safe, high-quality playing surface for our student-athletes, PE classes, and the many events our community enjoys throughout the year.

Many families and students have been asking how they can support the Harrigan family during this difficult time.
Tomorrow, Monday, June 29th, several parents have arranged for dinner from Bob’s Market to be delivered to the Harrigan’s, along with cards and letters from friends. If your child or family would like to send a card or note, you may drop it off at Bob’s Market by 5:00 PM tomorrow, and it will be included with the delivery.
This is simply an opportunity for those who would like to share their support and let the Harrigan family know they are being thought of.🖤🧡

Golf got us started. Baseball and softball kept us rolling, each winning a district title today! The excitement continues tomorrow at the MHSAA Individual Track & Field Finals! Congrats to our baseball and softball athletes and coaches and earning two wins each and the championship today, and best of luck tomorrow to 12 track and field athletes competing in Hudsonville! Proud of our Dawgs!!🐾
⛳️Our boys golf team had a great day on the course today! The team finished 6th overall, and both James Feudi and Logan Schwichtenberg qualified individually for States.

The Monroe County Community Foundation joined us at the high school today to host a scholarship breakfast for our Summerfield students.
This event is typically held countywide, but this year it coincided with our senior trip. We are grateful to the Community Foundation and our generous donors for taking time out of their morning to personally present the scholarships they support.🧡🖤
